At the Light of Christ Church, we take seriously Jesus' witness and call to serve others. We desire to help people with real needs to grow toward wholeness through local and global missions.

Local Outreaches:
We support the local food bank; Loaves and Fishes both financially and with volunteers. 

TLC Services: Our men's group offers free labor for small repair projects and yard work to members of our church, local community organizations and to individuals in need.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Vancouver Island: We provide funding and assistance in various ways for this organization.

Heart for Harewood: We have joined with a number of churches in Nanaimo to work together to help a neighborhood that struggles with the effects of poverty and drugs. 'Lifeline Harewood' reaches out to the High School aged students with practical hands on help with school and life, and a monthly outreach provides a safe and fun evening for them.

Our members individually are involved in numerous other areas of service in our community.
We also give financially to needs in the community as they arise.

International Outreach:
We support a child through Plan Canada, give financially to projects in our home province of Rwanda and provide relief in other places in need.
